ABOUT MOONLIT MEADOWS
Growing up, I was always the kid who loved getting new school supplies. I loved pretty stickers and colorful gel pens, and I can even remember my first boxed stationery set that I received for my 10th birthday! As a teen, I developed a love of scrapbooking, thanks to my mom and my Grandma Mary that has followed me through life. Now, as an adult, I still love treating myself to cute writing sets, fancy pens and really, all things paper. There's an undeniable joy in the experience of quality stationery - from a quality pen that writes so effortlessly, to the satisfying feel of a smooth, thick paper under your hand... The act of writing with such tools turns even the simplest note or list into a small moment of pleasure - It's a reminder of the beauty that can be found through life in even the everyday tasks and the simple joy of creating something with intent! I especially love the special-ness in a handwritten note or card and receiving those little handwritten messages in the mail, and I know there are others who love that as well!
Coupling my love of stationery with my adult obsession with cash budgeting and creating savings challenges to make saving fun; that’s really how I've turned these passions of mine into my small business. For months and months, after my family was in bed, I would stay up late at night making stationery designs on my computer or creating a new savings challenge and looking out the dining room window at the pasture behind our house, dreaming about sharing my passion with creating new things with others. Turning this daydream to a reality is essentially what lead to the birth of Moonlit Meadows.
This small business encompasses my passion for beautiful paper goods and playing games to save money; and I truly hope that's reflected in my products and future product launches! Most of the stationery and paper items are created by hand with love, so I truly hope the receivers of my products can appreciate the love and passion that goes into every single item.

Hello! I'm Amanda Jo, a passionate small business owner and proud wife & mother! Balancing my entrepreneurial journey with motherhood has taught me the importance of dedication and creativity. I strive to bring the same love and care I have for my family into my business, ensuring that every product/service reflects my commitment to quality. I actually began this journey before becoming a mom, with my always wishing that I could find a better planner out there to suit my needs; but it was definitely on a personal level. After becoming a foster mom, I often found it challenging to stay organized amidst the chaos of daily life; and the push to find the perfect planner was even greater - it just didn't exist for me. This struggle inspired me to create a planner that I initially wanted to print out for myself and use just as a personal tool to keep myself organized. But after going to print my personal planner through a print service, it was well over $100 just to print it, let alone binding it. I thought to myself that there has to be a better way and that I'm surely not the only one who has tried to print their own planner that "has it all" only to find that I couldn't actually afford to print it. My focus shifted from doing this for myself on a personal level to an intense desire to manufacture a luxurious planner that has everything from bill tracking to meal planning. I wanted to create a planner would help not only myself but others in similar situations of wanting to find a planner with everything! While that project is still in the works, this desire to create a multi-faceted planner is what is largely my driving factor. What started as a simple tool for organization has blossomed into my business and I hope to not only offer my luxury planner someday, but I always hope to offer beautifully crafted stationery, quality stationery accessories and fun budgeting essentials, since that is also another one of my passions! I'm excited to share my journey and the along the road, the products that have made a difference in my life!
